How To: Get Clear Vocals/Instruments On Mixcraft 5

TUTORIAL: First off, you want to record your first track or other words your first beat of your song. Then once you have that, Go to your mixer and and find that track number its on. Ok now you want to play that track and watch the level bar to make sure it doesn't go in to the red section, and you want to keep it out of the red because that means it is being played at a volume which is too loud and will cause static, buzz or non clarity. My tip is to try to keep it between the Yellow and Green area. Next thing to do is, record your next track. Once you have that play it on "Solo" mode so you hear just that track. Repeat the previous step and get the volume you like. Then listen to both tracks together to see if the volumes are at good levels. Keep doing this until you have all instrument tracks. Also once you are done with that mixing part of it, you can add your effects after. Now on to vocals... When recording vocals you want to keep it in the Green area on the level bar because that makes it the most clear. If its on the green area but too quite, you can turn up the single track by clicking on the vocal piece (Recorded Track aka green track) and you can raise that piece's volume by clicking "Ctrl + Alt + W" or lower the volume by clicking "Ctrl + Alt + S". After that you can use the noise reduction feature to get rid of any background noise, and i would recommend putting that to only like 30 to 45% because that is all that is needed really. Now onto vocal effects. First I would suggest adding these effects on to your vocal track: Classic Master Limiter > Master CD, Acoustica EQ, Acoustica Compresser > Vocal Push To Front OR Live Recording, and Classic Chorus > Whatever effect you like. Also you can add AutoTune, Delay or any other effect you want. Once done all this go back to mixer and play all together and watch your "Main Mix" bar to see if it goes into the red. Generally I find the best it to bring it down to 80 or 75% because that is where it sounds the most professional.
